The Biosamples Sub-study will collect additional blood and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) samples at different trial visits. The samples will be used for tests to tell us more about the treatments being tested in EJS ACT-PD. You can find out more about the Biosamples sub-study by visiting the 'About EJS ACT-PD Trial' page.
CSF samples are taken using a medical procedure called a ‘lumbar puncture’. You can watch the videos below to find out more lumbar punctures and how they are carried out.
